Advocacy
The House Peace Corps Caucus in April circulated their annual Peace Corps Funding Letter amongst members of the U.S. House of Representatives to provide robust support for Peace Corps Volunteers as they return overseas. At the signing deadline, 146 House Members signed onto the letter including Washington’s Suzan DelBene, Pramila Jayapal, Rick Larsen, Kim Schrier, and Marilyn Strickland. Thank you to everyone who reached out to their representative and urged their support! Be on the lookout for a similar letter being sent around the Senate in May.

Responding to the Crisis in Ukraine
Finding a trusted mechanism to help in times of humanitarian crisis can be a challenge, so we’re happy to share that Ukraine RPCVs rapidly mobilized to advocate, engage mass media, donate money and supplies, and provide direct assistance to friends in need of transportation, housing, and money to survive. Read more at RPCV Alliance for Ukraine.
