Community Garden Service
World Relief Seattle is accepting volunteers to assist with its Paradise Parking Plots Community Garden, a public space that improves food access, helps build community, and fosters economic independence, while promoting environmental stewardship. If interested, please register at the link below AND also email info@seapax.org so we can gauge interest in organizing future SEAPAX garden volunteer days.

Advocacy
Last week celebrated Peace Corps Week and kicked off our National Days of Advocacy where in the next two months, RPCVs and friends of the Peace Corps are coming together to meet with legislators and urge their support for the Peace Corps! The SEAPAX Advocacy Committee is currently scheduling meetings with the following members of Washington’s Congressional delegation. Email Jerome Siangco at jeromefs11@gmail.com if you are interested in joining a meeting to share your Peace Corps story with your representative and get their support.

Regional RPCV Campout: Save the Date!
The 2022 Regional RPCV Family Campout, hosted by Idaho RPCVs, will be July 21st-25th at Dworshak State Park near Orofino, ID.
Idaho RPCVs will manage reservations for the group campsite for tents anr RVs (no hookups). Fee will be determined by number of adult campers. Partial hookups and cabins can be reserved separately. Email Moe McGee at mcgeemh@yahoo.com for reservations.
