This issue: upcoming events, advocacy, mentorship, and more!
|
|
Congrats on making it through last week's heat weave! It may be slow summertime but we've still got fun events and opportunities for you to take advantage of. We hope to see you at our picnic in just a few short weeks!
Also - now that we are gathering more frequently for in-person events, it’s a great time to get involved with SEAPAX committees, whatever your passion: advocacy, events, grants, service. Contact info@seapax.org!

DEI Committee
With Back to School season right around the corner, it's essential to consider where we're spending our money. Intentionalist is a great resource to find BIPOC, women, or LGBTQIA+ owned businesses. Stay cool out there this summer!

Advocacy
This month and next, we are taking action to urge our Congressional representatives to pass the Peace Corps Reauthorization Act. Please write to your members of Congress to ask them to support and pass the Act this year. Send a pre-written letter to your representative here!
